3 Meaningful Ways to Accept Your Body After Breast Cancer

How do we even begin to accept and love a body that we don't even recognize?

You may have been super hard on yourself prior to your breast cancer diagnosis...I know, after 20+ years of working in the health and wellness fields, that most women are.

I am not excluded from this statement, in fact, for decades i was really hard on my body...pulling it apart every time I looked in the mirror...YES, even when I was 5'10" and a size 4/6 for over a decade as a personal trainer and biathlete!

What I've learned is that we rarely know what's going on in someone else's head and how they feel about themselves...and that's why it's important to not compare or judge.

As you watch this video, I share the top 3 meaningful ways that I've put into practice to not only accept my body, but love it with gratitude daily.

To recap:

1. The value of truly looking at yourself in the mirror and touching your body.

2. Change the clothes instead of judging yourself for not fitting them in the same way.

3. Practice daily self-care is essential to feeling confident in your skin. Self-Care leads to Self Love, which leads to Self-Compassion, which leads to Self-Confidence! I've even put together a 30 Day Self-Care Calendar that you can grab here and get started today.
