#3: The #1 Thing You Need to Calm Your Mind

crazedtocalm

In today's episode, I want to answer one of the questions I get ALL the time…

"Karin, can I really stop my brain from spinning, even if I take anti-anxiety medications, hormone-blocking medications, am in menopause or have always felt anxious?"

Firstly, I want to give you a high five for being here. I know how tough it can be to feel crazed, stressed out, and stuck in a never ending cycle and I can totally relate to feeling completely overwhelmed by trying to do All.The.Things.

It’s exhausting.

And, I know you try to carry on day to day and in front of family and friends, but alone and in your quiet times, your mind takes you to the "what if's" and anytime there is a new ache or pain you immediately go to THAT place.

When you can calm your mind, it could also help improve any other side-effects you’re dealing with, including:

  • Exhaustion,
  • Join and muscle pain,
  • Moodiness
  • Emotional for no apparent reason
  • Brain fog
  • Anxiety
  • AND SO MUCH MORE!!

(Without getting sciency...an anxious, spinning mind can lead to an inflammatory response in our bodies. Chronic stress = chronic inflammation = more exhaustion, joint & muscle pain, mood swings, brain fog, anxiety and so on!)

Keep in mind, the waves of life will keep crashing...

it's how well you learn to surf, that makes the difference!

But I want to reassure you that you CAN change how you react to stressful things in your life even if your Doctor is telling you it’s “normal” and you’ve tried meditation or yoga and it hasn’t worked for you.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m a huge fan of both…but I also know that if your head is spinning away, and you’re anxious about some upcoming tests, it can be hard to press the mental pause button and just breathe!

And then you feel even more stressed out, because you feel like there’s something wrong with you, because you don’t feel calmer! Right??

As for your Doctor…I don’t know about you, but when mine said that to me, I just felt dismissed, like what I was saying didn’t matter…this was NOT NORMAL for me and I wasn’t going to sit around and wait to start feeling better!!

BUT, it isn’t as easy as telling yourself to “calm down”, or “just breathe”!!

The #1 reason you might not have been able to stop your head spinning yet, is because you do NOT have the right strategies in place…. a problem that is 100% fixable.

Don’t worry - I’m not going to leave you hanging!

In my brand new training, I’m going to walk you through the exact 4-step method you need in order to go from Crazed to Calm!!

You’ll learn:

Step 1: My repeatable system so that you can actually identify and really let go of what you cannot control.

Step 2: How to identify your unique Automatic Trauma (Stress) Response that gets triggered often without you even realizing, and how to shut them off.

Step 3: How to stop the constant mental checklist, I have / need / want/ should.

Step 4: How to quieten the negative voice in your head, and allow your biggest cheerleader to come out instead.

Not only will we be going through each step in The Crazed to Calm Workshop, but you'll walk away from the workshop with your own unique Crazed to Calm Plan...so that the next time the anxiety hits...and we know it will...you know exactly what to do to start feeling calmer in 10 minutes or less!
