Hey there!

I’ve got something really special to share with you today about my friend Susan and how her life has changed since joining Thrivership School. You know how we’ve been talking about finding something that truly supports and uplifts us after everything we've been through?

Well, Susan found that, and it’s been absolutely life-changing. If you’re a breast cancer survivor or just someone looking for a supportive community, you’re definitely going to want to hear this.

Susan’s journey with breast cancer started in the most challenging way. Her story actually begins 25 years ago when her 18-year-old daughter was diagnosed with brain cancer. Tragically, her daughter passed away at just 22. Susan had to learn to cope with the devastating loss of her only child.

Fast forward to the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, Susan herself was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Can you imagine facing cancer in the middle of a global pandemic, attending all your appointments alone because of hospital restrictions? It was an incredibly tough and lonely time for her.

But then, Susan found me and Thrivership School. Initially, she was hesitant about the investment – aren’t we all when it comes to investing in ourselves? But she realized that it was a necessary step for her healing.

The emotional support and sense of community she found through Thrivership were exactly what she needed. Even though Susan wasn't always the most open about sharing her feelings in the beginning, she found immense value in the group coaching and the camaraderie of the other women in the program.

There’s something so powerful about being surrounded by people who truly get what you’re going through.

One of the biggest changes Susan has experienced since joining Thrivership is a shift in her mindset. She’s become so much more open to possibilities and less focused on the negatives.

It’s like she’s rediscovered a sense of hope and adventure. She told me about how she’s started saying “yes” to new experiences, like going on a spontaneous weekend trip with her husband. Can you believe it?

From feeling isolated and overwhelmed, she’s now embracing life with a newfound zest.

I've really noticed this change in Susan too. I see how much lighter and more open Susan seems compared to when we first started working together. It’s amazing to see how much someone can grow and change with the right support and encouragement.

Thrivership School isn’t just about surviving; it’s about thriving. It’s about finding joy, rediscovering passions, and building a community that lifts you up. The program has given Susan a space to heal, to connect, and to grow. Even if she doesn’t always share as openly as others, just being part of this supportive group has made a world of difference.

Susan and I wrap up our conversation by reflecting on the incredible progress Susan has made and the value she’s found in the Thrivership community.  Maybe you think it’s worth considering for you too?

If you’re feeling isolated, overwhelmed, or just in need of a community that understands and supports you, Thrivership School could be exactly what you need. It’s about more than just surviving cancer – it’s about rediscovering yourself and finding new ways to thrive.
