A Thrivership Conversation

From surviving breast cancer…

to feeling like yourself again šŸ’›

Ā

Not the you from before.Ā Just a you...that you actually recognize.

There's a reason you don't yet.

And this conversation is where you find out.

You don't have to arrive here feeling okay.

If you’ve ever found yourself thinkingĀ šŸ’ā€¦

Ā

ā€œEven basic things feel like too muchā€
ā€œI should feel better by nowā€¦ā€
ā€œMy mind just spins… and I can’t switch it offā€
ā€œI know what I should be doing… but I’m just not doing itā€
ā€œI don’t even know if this is cancer, menopause, stress… or all of itā€

Or…
"I just want to feel like me again… but I'm not even sure who that is anymore."

šŸ’›Ā There is nothing wrong with you.

Your body has been through something enormous. Of course it changed you.

But here's what most people...including most doctors...never tell you:

What you're feeling has a name. And it makes complete sense.

A clinical study found that 82.5% of women diagnosed with breast cancer experience symptoms of PTSD.

Not a small minority. Not the ones who weren't coping well enough.

Four in five.

And yet only 3.6% ever receive a diagnosis.

Which means most women are carrying the weight of this… with no name for it.

No support for it. And being quietly told to get on with their lives.

This isn't about motivation. And it's not because you're not trying hard enough.

(In fact… you've probablyĀ had to beĀ the strong one for a long time.)

You're the one who:

"I can put the mask onĀ and pretend...I'm very good at it"
"Everybody comes to me with every problem"
"People think I have loads of energy… and I don't"
"I smile and say I'm fine… and part of me means it. And part of me is desperate for someone to ask again."

So you keep going…

You get up
You go to work, you juggle your responsibilities
The next day… and the next day… and the next day

Even when:

"Some days it's heavier than others"
"I feel guilty resting"
"I can't say no… I feel guilty"
"I feel guilty doing something just for me."
"Who am I to need support? Other people have it so much harder."
Ā
Ā
šŸ‘‰ Save My Spot - I don't want to keep carrying this on my own.

Ā

So if it's real… if it has a name… if four in five women experience this…

Why isn't anyone talking about it?

And more importantly —

Why isn't the usual advice working?

Not because you're not trying hard enough. Not because you need another program or another plan.

Because eating well, moving your body, and pushing through… cannot release a nervous system that's still on guard.

🧩 That's the missing piece.

And in this conversation... I'm going to share with you what has worked for me and hundreds of women just like you.

Ā

In this conversation you'll finally understand what those 2am Google searches have not revealed,Ā

Ā

✦ why your body has been holding on

✦ why the usual advice hasn't worked

✦ and what it actually takes to start feeling like yourself again

Not more to do. Not another plan to follow.

Just the clarity that changes everything.

Ā

Because when things start to make sense… something shifts...

Not all at once, and definitely notĀ perfectly.

But you know those moments?

ā˜ŗļø When you get to the end of a Tuesday and realize your shoulders aren't up around your ears.

Ā

ā˜ŗļøĀ When someone asks how you are and you say fine and part of you actually means it.

Ā

ā˜ŗļøĀ When you sit at the dinner table and you're actually there…not just physically present while your mind spins somewhere else.

Ā

ā˜ŗļøĀ When you pause before saying yes and it doesn't feel like guilt.Ā It just feels like… a choice.

Ā

ā˜ŗļøĀ When you're in a room full of women and you don't have to explain a single thing.Ā They just… get it.Ā And you think ... oh.Ā Oh, you too?

Ā

That's what starts to happen.

Ā

Not because you fixed anything.

Because you finally understood something.

Ā

And understanding... real understanding...allows you to start exhaling.

Just enough to start feeling like you again. 🫶

Ā

Imagine this...

Ā

It's a Saturday morning.

You've made your tea.ā˜•ļø

You're sitting somewhere comfortable.

And for one hour...you're in a room where nobody needs an explanation.

No "but you look so well."

No "you should feel grateful...you're here."

No turning yourself into a pretzel trying to make people understand.

Just women who know.

Who really know.

And somewhere in that hour…

Something quietly shifts.Ā Just a little.

Ā

And you exhale.šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Ø

Ā

Maybe for the first time in a long time.

That's what this conversation is. šŸ’›

Because here's what I want you to know…

This doesn't just have to be howĀ life is now.

The exhaustion, the spinning mind, the feeling of not quite being yourself...it makes complete sense given everything your body has been through.

And it can shift.

Not by pushing harder. Not by doing more. Not by trying to go backwards.

Just by finally understanding what's actually going on and knowing you don't have to figureĀ out the way forward alone.

That's what this conversation is for.Ā

Ā

Here's what women say after they've been in the room…

"Now I feel like there's people that really get it"

"I don't have to explain everything and try to validate what I'm feeling anymore."

"I wasn't sure I should come… and it was the best decision I made."

Ā

I open the door to this conversation just a couple of times a year…

And if you're here… this might be your moment.

A personal note from your host

Hi, I'm Karin. šŸ‘‹

Breast cancer thriver. Trauma-informed health coach. Founder of Thrivership School. And someone who knows exactly what it feels like to have finished treatment… and still not feel like yourself.

After my own breast cancer and BRCA2 journey, I discovered something that so many women experience quietly on their own... surviving is a medical milestone. But the recovery that comes after? It can be harder than anyone prepares you for.

What I discovered changed everything.

Not just for me...but for every woman I've worked with since.

And it's what I'm bringing into this conversation.

Because I believe that no woman should carry this alone.

xoxo KarinĀ ā˜•ļø
