You Won't Miss Soda When You Try This Lemon Spritzer
Even if you vowed to give up soda years ago, it can be SO TEMPTING, when the weather is warm and the grill gets fired up, especially when (eventually) we're able to get together with family and friends and grill together and the cola is standing there in the ice bucket.
I know this can be hard to hear, but soda is definitely not a healthy option when it comes to drinks, and diet soda, even worse! So, for those of you focused on trying to staying healthy, lose weight, reduce risk of serious disease...this recipe (and the BBQ Recipe Guide I've developed - grab yours at the end of this article) is for you!
I'm lucky, I was never a soda drinker, except for the occasional ginger ale, but I know it's something that many of my clients have a really hard time giving up...something to do with the bubbles, they tell me :)
So, I got to work, creating a healthier option and I think you'll like this...great for kids and adults, with an adult only version if you'd care for an alcoholic beverage.

2 teaspoons ginger, finely minced 1 large lemon, thinly sliced
2 cups sparkling water
