Â
Many women notice this in life after breast cancerâŚ
even when treatment is over
Youâre not imagining it đ
Some daysâŚ
even the basics feel like too much
Â
Your mind doesnât switch off
You try to restâŚ
but your body never fully settles
Â
Youâre trying to do everything right
and stillâŚ
you donât feel okay
Â
Sometimes you wonderâŚ
Is this the medication?
Is it menopause?
Is it stress?
Or is this just⌠how life feels now?
Â
And underneath all of thatâŚ
âI just want to feel like me againâ
But youâre not even sure
who that is anymore
Â
Most survivorship plans start with what to eat and how to move your body
Most advice for breast cancer recovery focuses on what to eat and how to exerciseâŚ
And, YES, those things matter
But what if you simply don't have the capacity to add one more thing?
Because you're already carrying so much.
The side effects of treatment.
The appointments.
The decisions.
The fear.
Work. Family. Everyone else's needs.
And often, things you've been carrying since long before breast cancer.
So when you're told to exercise more, meal prep, meditate, manage your stress and prioritize self-care...
even taking care of yourself can feel like another brick in an already heavy backpack.
No wonder you can't seem to do all the things you know would help.
Maybe recovery doesn't start by adding more.
Maybe it starts by putting something down.
Â
Itâs not the things
Itâs the order
Â
It's like youâve been pressing the accelerator
while the parking brake is still on, spinning your wheels and getting nowhere.
Â
No wonder nothingâs working...
You see, your body doesnât need more effort.Â
It needs some of the load taken off first.
And this is the part I know so wellâŚ
Hi đ, I'm Karin (just like Karen)
After my breast cancer and BRCA2 diagnosis, followed by seven surgeries in two years... I thought Iâd just âbounce back.â
Spoiler alert: I didnât.
On the outside, I looked like I was âdone.â
On the inside? I felt like a stranger in my own body ... exhausted, anxious, and wondering âwhat's wrong with me?â
Honestly, I'd spent decades holding it all together for everyone else, through trauma, loss, and major life changes, until my body finally whispered (okay, shouted): đŁÂ ENOUGH!!
Â
Â
As someone who has worked in health and wellness for 22+ years...I thought I knew what to do...
I thought the solution was simple: eat better, exercise more, push harder.
But instead of getting my life back, I got more depleted.
Thatâs when it clicked⌠recovery after breast cancer isnât about muscling through.
It wasnât that what I was trying to do was wrong...
It was the order
I was pressing the accelerator
with the parking brake still on
while carrying an invisible backpack that was already far too heavy.
This is the part of breast cancer recovery that often gets missed.
I didnât need more discipline.
I needed to stop carrying so much.
And as I began putting some of that invisible weight down...
I had more capacity.
More energy.
More space.
More room to actually live my life again.
And from thereâŚeverything started to shift
Â
So, in 2021, I created Thrivership Schoolâ˘Â ...
the group coaching program (and community) I wish Iâd had.
A place for women after breast cancer to gently put down whatâs weighing them down and build a life that has room for them in it again.
đ No homework.
đ No grades.
đ No mean girls.
Just a safe, supportive space
to rebuild your energy, your peace, and your sense of self...
One small, EASY shift at a time đ
Because you don't have to do this alone, my friend.Â

"These stories mean the world to me because I know what itâs like to wonder if youâll ever feel like yourself again. You will. And Iâll walk with you every step of the way." ~Â Karin
âI didnât know what kind of help I needed...I just knew I didnât want to feel like this anymore."
I wasnât looking for a program. I was tired, overwhelmed, and honestly just wanted someone to help me make sense of what was going on inside me.
Working with Karin helped me slow down and see things clearly for the first time. I didnât feel pushed or fixed ...I felt understood. And from that place, everything started to shift.
